Mixing different species of clowns

After hearing that you shouldn't mix different species of clowns, I found what I believe to be an Allardi clown (Amphiprion allardi) at the LFS today, and decided to purchase it. They had it listed for $9.99. I put it in the same tank with my small Ocellaris, and they seem to be getting along great. I even saw within the first 30 minutes the two of them swimming beside each other, and the Allardi gently nudge the Ocellaris.

Does anyone think they'll pair? What might the outcome be of the two mating?

Here are a couple of pictures I took rather quickly. I had to adjust the picture quite a bit since it was near dark in the tank, so the colors and detail may not be spot on.

I know this has been up for a few days already...but I just wanted to tell you that your clowns are gorgeous and I hope it works out for you!

Don't want to bum you out, but the dark clown is not an allardi. It is most likely a clarki. It is possible they could form a pair, but the clarki has a lot a growing to do before it reaches breeding size. As they grow it is not unusual for clowns of different species who were best buddies, to decide they don't like each other as they mature.
