Mixing Genicanthus Angel species?

Love The Fish
How does this work out? Like maybe one Bellus, one Swallowtail and one Watanabei or a Lamarks. This is just research at the moment until my upgrade is complete. But these are some of my favorites. The tank will be a 225, 60"36"24" Please show pics and share any info that might help with these guys.
This will be a mixed reef with mostly peaceful fish.

Tagging along.
My Bellus has proved to be an incredible addition to my mixed reef.
Pretty little active fish.
Causes no trouble with my corals and stands up to the bully tangs.
Would also like to add another type of Genicanthus

I have a 2 bellus , 2 swallowtail and a Lamarck in my 450g DT...the bellus were a pair and have BOTH changed sex (to remain a pair), my 3" F lamarck, grew to 5" in 2 months, became M, and apparently is the 'top' male, because my pair of swallowtails, is now 2 females!
They all seem to get along fine, there are about 60 fish in the tank.

In my 225g I have a bellus female, watanabie female, and a female swallowtail.
They all get along as long as they all stay in their territory. My swallowtail owns the rightside of my tank and my watanabie owns the left. The bellus is a roamer.

There is no fighting , just friendly reminders to stay in their own area.
If you add them seperately, make sure to use an acclimation box and keep them in there for a bit longer than normal.

Good to hear Bradley. I knew you had two but I didn't know about the third species in your tank. No problems with your Regal and Blueline with them either?

My blueline was the last one added and to my surprise there was no aggression between any of the others. I now have 7 angels in the tank and all do very well together. My first was the regal, she was added 3 years ago and I thought she didn't have a chance because my purple tang wanted to tear her apart, but she found a hiding spot for 2 weeks and finally the tang gave up. I have more problem from my 2 tangs in my tank with introduction than any others. I'm not surprised by the actions of my purple tang, but my hippo tang can get aggressive also.

Anyone else has success stories on keeping multiple types in their tank? I just got a pair of swallowtail. They both good size, specially the male. I'm looking to add a pair of bellus (if i could find one) some day and i don't want to find out the hard way.

I didn't want to risk any sort of fighting, so I recently added a second female melanospilos (rather than another species). All three get along great and are great to watch together.

IME...you will have 1 male Genicanthus angel...the others will revert/remain female

My Lamarck M dominated my Bellus and Swallowtails...I removed Lamarck and added Zebra (male swallowtail)...however F Bellus changed again to male (this was 3rd change! F>M>F>M) and forced Zebra to revert back...now I have 3 F swallowtails...I am thinking to remove Bellus M...leave him in another system so that he may revert to F, while in main DT a swallowtail changes to M

1 male zebra swallowtail
1 female bellus

Some minor chasing but no damage. The bellus is a master at eating and i think the zebra thinks he doesn't get enough.

Bellus for 1+ years and the zebra for maybe 7-8 months.

Glad to hear they could co-exist in the same tank. I guess I should just look for females, instead of a male and female pair.
