Mixing IVS 2 part before dosing

Randy,

I have added some SPS in my tank and I find that I need to dose my EVS several times a week. I only dosed once a week before with stable results. I would like to setup an automatic drip system that would dose at night. I am considering a aqua lift pump and a timer to turn it on and off. My question is can I mix the EVS part 1 and 2 about 90-120 ml in a fresh water container. If I can how much fresh water should I use to dilute it. I have limited space under my 90 gallon tank and do not have the ability to run a gravity fed system or get my RO line to it. I was considering purchasing a water container that will fit under my tank, mix the 2 part in it, set the pump and timer with a IV drip set and have the pump turn on and off several times per night adding the mixture to the tank. I guess I need the ratio of EVS to fresh water I need so that I can put both parts in the container. I hope this is not too confusing.

Thanks,

Brad

Yes, you can dilute them in different containers of fresh water as much as you want to match evaporation, etc.. Do not put them into the same container of fresh water, or it will precipitate calcium carbonate.

You might also consider replacing it with limewater, or my DIY two part system:
