Mixing masked and regular swallowtail angels

So I ordered a pair M&F masked swallowtail angels and they came in today and the male was DOA

So Im trying to figure out what I want to do with this female masked swallowtail that I have. Finding another male is going to be very hard, we all know how rare they are. Can I just mix in 2 more female regular swallowtail angels in at this point to make a harem? Or should I just leave the single female masked swallowtail in the tank until I can find some more of them be it male or female?

It's really your call, I'd imagine you'll be fine adding females either way.

It's up to you but since you purchased a pair to begin with I would wait for another female masked to become available and let one of them change to a male ( it will take between 2-3 months for this to happen. Do you have other angels in the tank? Sometimes when the male dies the female will turn male or vise versa

No other angels in the tank, so I have her in there by herself. I think I am going to wait and see if I can find another male, if not I might add 2 more females and hopefully one of them will turn to a male.

If you find one get one considerably bigger or smaller then the current female you have and the largest will turn
