Hi all
I wondered if anybody could let me know if it is ok to use Copper, Praziquantel and Antibiotics all at the same time ?
Background:
1. Tinkers butterfly (pair) purchased 2.5 weeks ago.
2. Day returned hame with them, found tank (800 gallons) had overdosed with Voka (300ml).
3. Water cloudy and fish breahing heavy.
5. Increased circulation, added air stones etc, saved most of the existing fish.
6. Felt at the time (late in the evening) had no other option other than to add new fish to system (10 - 15 gallon tank) on centralised reef system.
7. Following day tinkers eating like pigs (and have continued to do so).
8. Returned home from business trip(3 days) tinkers smothered in white spot, one had a cloudy eye.
9. Probably a bad decision, decided to add tinkers into main display ('happy' environment'), added twelve UVs, gave used a lots of different types of flakes with vitamins etc.
10. 1 week or so later, white spot much reduced, but still present, cloudy eye, certainly no better, fish still eating but twitching.
11. 3 days ago, decided to remove a treat tinkers (mainly due to cloudy eye). Using 10 - 15 gallon tank, isolated from main system, strategy, change 50% of water every other day (slowly). Added Marine Cure (0.15mg/L), added antibiotics (don't know name), freshwater dipped twice.
12. Today; even more white spot gone, fish still 'perky'
13. Question, should I add Gyro Marin (active substance Praziquantel) to teh system (I wondering whether the clody eye, is not bateria related.
