mixing saltwater..?'s

well, I mixed my water about 36 hrs ago, I used a bubble maker and a powerhead to mix and aireate the water, about 25 minates ago I transfered the water from the cooler ( what i used to mix the salt) to the tank.....I just got done feeding the kittens and then i was looking at the tank to put the sand in and the bottom is still covered (lightly) with salt....what did I do wrong? I also broke the powerhead in the process of the transfer...dont know how but it doesnt work anymore....what should I do, or is this normal?

sorry for all the questions its just not been going right for me lately...... please dont hate me

lol i figured it out once you said that, lol i put it in i just forgot to turn it on...lol thanks, will it matter if i finish the mixing in the tank, theres nothing else in it as of right now.... i feel stupid....i keep making little stupid mistakes...

as long as there are no animals in the tank you can mix the water wherever you want
