IMO, Acanthurus Tangs are much worse as far as mixing than even Pomacanthus Angels. I would only do one to a tank, even in a 300 gallon. THere are a lot of non-Acanthurus Tangs you could add.
Powder Blue, Achillles, Sohal, and Clown Tang are IMO amonst the most aggressive fish in the hobby, let alone Tangs.....You never know, but I wouldn't try it. If you have the opportunity to introduce them together to the 300, that would give you the best chance, but I still don't think so.
i have a 200 gallon with 3vlamingis, 3 yellow tangs, 1 purple tang, 2 naso male streamers,2 convicts, 1 blue line tang, 1 doctor tang, 2 unicorn tangs,1 tennet tang and no problems what so ever

That's a lot of tangs. I remember you having an aggressive tank as well. Do you have pics of the 200g? I'd love to see the doctorfish, how big is it? I am getting a juvi tomorrow.
