Is it possible? or is it too risky due to disease?

Mixing species of seahorses and even mixing the same species from different sources, even if all are captive bred, comes with its risks. It is possible, and there are precautions that you can take to make it less risky (like lengthy QT, introducing water slowly, low temps, large water changes, perfect water quality, UVs, etc.), but there will always be the risk that you will lose some or all of your horses.

With the proper precautions in place, I'd do it. Know what your getting into though.
