MJ circulation pump ?

When people post about buying "MJ xx00" pumps, are they talking about Marineland brand or Cobalt brand? Both brands have "maxijet/MJ" pumps but Marineland is literally half the price of Cobalt.

My return has basically died (barely moving water and cleaning isn't improving it) and I want to upgrade to an "MJ" since that's what I see most using, but I want to get the right one.

They're referring to both. The Cobalt branded version is made in Italy while the other is manufactured in Asia. The Marineland version of converts to a circulation type with an included impeller and housing.

I've used both and haven't noticed a difference in longivity.
