Not me but sounds like a great way to add extra flow. Fwiw, every diy project I have done I have always just bought the stuff I was trying to make. EX: protein skimmer, I ended up buying a SWC Octopuss. Works better than my diy.

Just save up the money to buy a stream or Vortec imo, unelss your really good at diy projects.

I did and I'm UK based so the stuff had to be shipped all the way to Manchester (only cost me an extra $4) - the package arrived and everything was alright - I'd order from them again if I needed to mod any more maxijets.

I made 2 of them. Works fine but it's just a stopgap until the Tunze nanos come out for me. They are kinda bulky and mine both make some noise when starting up.

ya they make a couple clicks when ya start them. I don't turn mine off and on very often so it doesn't really matter much to me.
