I only modded it because I got the circle and knew it would not work because of the curve so I thought stick it on the bottom. I never tried it on side wall . It should work I just don't have extra square tank now:hmm2:

I am surprised that it doesn't push the Westside off or have it walk sideways and come out of alignment.

I have a spare Wetside I may try this tonight

Just do it:beer:All you need is the nozzle from the wetside and I used regular super glue.

With the dwv 90 it flows out smooth and gets very wide. No problems at all and maybe it works so good is from it been mounted on the bottom:idea:

This mp40 is 5yrs old and it's running at 75% lagoon mode I had it at 100% but that was crazy flow:spin2:No cavitation problems or noise. Pump is 35" from front of tank and I couldn't be more pleased with the way it's working.

All Lowes had was PVC. I used the dremel with the sanding barrel to hog it out a bit. It's a press on fit. I can remove it which is nice so I can position the anti air siphon plate to point up.

Cool that looks like a 45 deg. fitting the lowes here has the black abs maybe you can order online

Yup, a 2" 45 degree. Pretty cool mod. I always wanted to try diagonal flow and with this it eliminates the need for another brand pump. I'm gonna mod the other and concrete that I like it. I will then order black ABS.

Good job :thumbsup:and I have a mp10 on hand and I will see if the 11/2 fittings will work on them. I just love the pumps so much and when I got the circle I was brain storming on how I could use them . I didn't want a another pump in that tank

My modded mp 40 has been working flawless and now I modded my mp 10. I used a 11/2" abs dwv 90 from lowes and the fit is perfect no dremel needed:celeb1:

This is exactly what I was looking for, it will be great to make a custom nozzle for my corner bowfront tank.

MP40 takes 2" pipe?
