Hey Gang,
I have 2 dual T5 fixtures. The fixtures are 30 inches long and house 2 22" 14 watt bulbs. The sockets are adjustable to where they could slide down and accept 24" 24 watt bulbs. I am looking online for the replacement ballasts to change from the 14 watt ballast to the 24 watt ballast.
The fixture currently has independent on/off switch for each bulb and separate ballasts for each. It also has a constant on LED moon lights. The drawback to this is that there is only 1 powercord. I could change that to give each light its own power cord to enable each bulb to be put on independent timers.
There is not a selection of bulbs to choose from in the 14 watt category, that is why I am looking to make the change.
Has any of you ever made this change? The fixture itself is decent, the bulbs just suck.
