i was wondering where do you guys place your mohawks to get their color to pop more? i have mine at the bottom of the tank and for some reason they are bleaching. They do not get as pink as some of the other ones ive seen.

they do but they are bleaching. i have mohawks and variable stars they are almost the same but they dont get as pink as somethers that ive seen

I thought they were te same too. Mine are mid way up in moderate-high flow. The PAR at there is around 340. Mine took off for a while and I fragged and now they don't grow nearly as fast.

I had mine at the top under T5's and they didn't look nearly as good as when they were in lower light. They lost some of their sparkle.

mine are bleaching as well. I've had them under 250 MHs 14 ks and the polyps are tiny and white to pink... not sure how to get their color back. my purple deaths are kind of the same way. way lighter than they should be. a very light faint purple color. Is it too much light? would love to have some ideas to get the colors back to these zoas....

If you think they may be bleached... is there anything you can do to get the color back. I put them in a shaded spot. I think I gave them way too much light apparently...
