Molecrabs/Sand Sifting crabs

I was curious if anyone has these in their tank? I am interested in collecting them locally to add to the tank, how deep of a sandbed do they need? Any info is appreciated!

Don't bother. They'll starve to death.

I looked into keeping these a while back and exchanged a few emails with a vendor who sells them as bait. He basically said the same thing, they can't be kept alive in a tank. It's a shame, they're super cool. I've considered setting up a special tank where they could be fed a bit more directly, but that'll have to wait until the next time I move.

Thanks for the input. I was going to collect them locally, I live on the outer banks of nc. But if there is little chance they will survive I will leave them where they are.
