Molting? Sickness? Dying?

M'kay. so I've had Circe, my Odontactylus Scyllarus, for about a month.
I recently had trouble with my calcium but I don't think it would be effecting her so much that she wouldn't eat, but I dont know.
So she does come out and about, but only when I turn the light off.
I give her soft food and she takes it into her burrow but then pushes it back out again. I have 5 hermies and 2 snails in there and she pays no attention to them. When she is out her swimeretts do move but not constantly, more like in small intervals. She still is an active swimmer but I don't know, she just seems to be acting weird. Her color is also darkening, so whats up? Is she molting? Is she sick? Is she dying? (I hope not!) Any insight is much appreciated.

What type of lighting do you have and what is your lighting schedule? Perhaps your lighting is too intense or too long of a cycle and it's stressing her.

I just do biweekly water changes and light the tank a little for 4ish hours. He still is more active when there is daylight in the room and the lights are out.

It's possible she would like to molt but I don't know this since you said she was darkening. What does her burrow look like? Is she happy with it? I know my peacock didn't do his first molt until he built a suitable palace out of 20+ pieces of live rock rubble.

i have a pvc pipe leading into a live rock "cave" and she seems to like it very much. i have 24" power compact lighting system that i turn on in the morning when i wake up and i turn it off when it gets dark. but she only recently stared hiding. she is usually very active even with the light on. im not too sure if she is lightening or darkening because i can only see her when the light is off.

well shes started digging a little in the sand making a U shape in the sand. maybe preparing to bury her molt shell? shes acting a lot better now, her swimeretts are moving now and she seems to be acting better.
