Monitor Alkalinity for a FOWLR?

Do you need to monitor alkalinity for a FOWLR. No Ca additives are being used.

I only monitor ph and NO3. Alk isn't necessary.

If you want a ton of coralline growth, then worry about alk levels.

Yes.
If U dont like coralline on rocks. No
Fish they could not care less about Ca and Alk. just maintain good PH
Besides frequent monthly water change is enough to maintain this considering no corals in the tank.

Only using NO lighting, so probably no coralline anyway.

U cant run a tank w/o light, You gonna have a problem w/ PH. Your running salt water not fresh water. 2 flo. light is more than enough.

Sorry, didn't mean "NO light", I meant "Normal Output light"
