Monster 8+" Bristleworm

I get home tonight and turn the light on in my tank and i find my giant Bristleworm! The last time I saw him was about 4 years ago (before I moved the tank to my dads house) when he was only about 5-6" long. He has grown to about 8-9" now. He has never given me problems so I guess I will keep him around

they grow alot faster than that, i would assume it's not the same one you saw 4 years ago.

I just broke down a tank and had 3-4 2-3" ones. I found them the hard way and spent a long time with a tweezers and a good light plucking out the bristles. That was yesterday actually...

Lucky you! I used to have one that size, but he either didn't survive the move or he's moved into a location in the back of the tank. Haven't seen in in ages. But once they get big like that, you should notice a pretty big difference in how clean the sand is around his hiding spot compared to the rest of the tank. They may be ugly, but it's one of my favorite little sand cleaners. They'll even work on the glass a bit near the sandbed.
