Got all my rock last night to redo my scape. The rock in the tank now is just a bunch of smaller rock and its not worth tryin to make somethin out of nothin. Im gonna cycle it and everything b4 i make the switch since its straight from the ocean so itll b a month b4 its in the display but at least i have it. I plan to mess with it tonight and come up with somethin so ill take same pics when i do!
Its hatian rock very easy to scape with. Theres so many holes and caves in it everywhere you look theres somethin cool. One of my favorite kinds of rock for sure!
Just bought a panworld ps200 to move the sump in the basement hopefully in the next month. Doing a 48x24x20 sump down there with a 40b frag tank plumbed into it. Going bigger with everything so i can upgrade displays later on without re buying everything
I have the same tank and I went with 2 inches of sand coverage and used about 100lbs of sand. I love my 93 gallon tank but I'm lacking corals, thus making me super jealous of your setup. Do you have pics of your sump setup?
Im going to put new sand in my display when i switch out my rock and get the sump in the basement. I ordered the pump and skimmer already and should be ordering the sump soon its 48x24x20. The sump in it now is just a 30g tank with baffles nothing special
Threw this canopy together tues night. Nothing special kept it simple to match the plain jane marineland stand. The front and side both lift up as i wanted be able to get in there with nothing in the way still. Its definatly not as technical of fancy how i love to build like my other stand builds but it should look ok once i skin and trim the riser under the stand and paint it all. When i finally upgrade i already have plans for the stand on my next tank!
I ordered my custom sump for the basement 48x24x20 should be built and ready in a couple weeks and my panworld 200 pump came in so shouldnt be long now! This is the first step to my upgrade i have enough stuff to upgrade to either a 4 ft or 6 ft deep deminsion tank once i get some cash to buy it and build the stand. Im planning an getting rid of the zetlight zt6600 and get a radion g2 pro fairly soon
