Monti Cap HELP!!

Look for monti eating nuibranch. They look like white hair algae. I added a couple sps corals to my all lps tank. The acro's and birdnest are doing fine. But my Monti's would start dying 1 by 1. Until one evening when my lights started dimming. I saw 3 of them eating away at my montipora, that was on the sand bed.

Sure it wouldnt hurt to give it a quick dip in revive...havent seen anything like that on it though

I've always used the cheap $5 Alk test kit. Takes less than a minute to do a test. It's very important. Magnesium, not so much, especially without much other SPS and doing water changes every week, I'm sure your Mg is fine. What I think is happening is you're messing around too much with your Alk by dosing without knowing what it is.

Your prob right...im getting a kit today ill post my readings...I knws it bad to not test before I dose,but my tanks always done awesome that way,but now its prob gonna do even better when I get everything straighten out.
