Monti Cap Problem...Please help!

Finally caught the pest after changing all the rocks and sand in my DT...

Initially thought it was a worm cause i also found a big worm. But this morning when i checked the rocks i removed from the tank, i found this.

I had a guy like that a lot bigger with black tipped claws, and Long Red hairs all over, It slowly killed most of my fish. big ones too. they would disapear. I thought they jumpped out and the cat ate them.

The legs are actually kinda hairy except that its dried already because i left the rocks in which it was hiding in under the sun. Now i have some peace of mind knowing that its out of the tank.

Congrats on finding it. You would never see that Guy, he looks just like the rocks.

i actually still didnt see it until it came out of the old rocks which i dried under the sun.

So how do you know be was the killer? I have a couple of those and have never had issues. Could be him but you should at least consider the possibility that the real killer is still in there

All old rocks were removed. Even the old sand was removed. So 99% sure no more pests. heheh But still like you said you never know if something else hitched back.

I dont think that is your killer either, I have some of those and nothing is harmed, in fact if I get a flashlight I find those crabs eating algae at night.
