Today I noticed my monti has some bleaching and tissue recession, caused by a vermitid snail. I put a glob of super glue over it to kill the snail. My question is will the recession stop, and will I need to cut away the dead area?
I'd advise doing an iodine dip. The tissue recession can be stopped if caused by bacteria/ciliates which seems to be the case here due to stress brought on by vermetid snail web.
