Monti Cap...?

OK, at the meeting, i baught a bag with about 3 peices of cap. Big peices too. i put them in different levesl and a areas of my tank, and two of them now have a white haze over the top. What is that? is that bad? Too much light? too little? everythign else is GREAT!?!?!?! Does anyone know what it is doing?

How's your flow over them? They can get kinda gooey from stress and good flow helps keep detrius off them and keeps them clean

try just blowing it off with a baster and increasing flow maybe?

Could be slime or could be bleaching. I always put new frags low and move them up in 1 week.

seth16 you got those from my tank the same piece you see in the pic far back as you can see it was starting to overshadow my pink ora birdsnest with blue polyps that was a no no, anyway i do keep them high in the tank under 250 mh 10k and lots of flow.
if you lose them let me know.

well, i did what other people have told me, and i put them at the bottom, and i will work them up until they have enought light. THey have STRONG flow now
