just got 2 pcs of green monti caps today. should i glue them on rock where i want them or is there a better way. has anyone glued to overflow where they start to cover it up. or would it be best left on rock. got 2 pcs about 5 x 5 inches for 20 bucks. i thought it was a pretty good deal. any mounting advice is welcome

they don't need super strong light, so I put mine lower in the tank....that way they won't shade other corals as much.

My orange is getting to the point that it would be shading a bit if it were up higher in the tank.

i have a powerful t5 lighting system. i dont mind a little shading. just don`t want to burn my caps. do you glue them or use epoxy to attach?

I usually just shove em' into a crevice and let them take hold on their own only takes a few weeks before they encrust. and I love taking advantage of my montis shading ability the dendros and other non-photo corals love being under them.
