I got this little guy as a gift from my in-laws, they cant remember what it was. It look nice... foliosa?

I don't think it's foliosa. Foliosa will have "Corallites are arranged in rows between coenosteum ridges, which are conspicuous and usually perpendicular to colony margins." I don't see any ridges.

Hard to say by just the pic. Do you know if it plates, encrust, or branches? If i had to guess i would say Montipora florida, if it plates.

I ended up calling the store and ending pictures. Turns out to be a Leng Sy, Montipora capricornis.
