Monti I.D

Hey guys, ive had this monti for a couple of years, its a slow grower. Initially i thought it was a cap but now im not 100% sure. Any ideas?

Are you sure it's a Montipora? In the second photo, it almost looks like a Pavona or something similar. Can you post a close-up shot of the coralites?

If it was pavona I don't think the clams would be as happy, possibly psammacora maybe.

Ill get some picks today when the kids have gone to school, im 99% sure its a monti though..

Looks like a green monti with a pigment infection. Hard to tell because the photos are so out of focus.

Edit; just looked at the second photo. 100% not a monti cap. Id remove the clam from on top of the coral. As far as the species I'm not 100%, but it looks to be a plating lps of sorts.

Clams are removed from it now, was just a temp positin for them. I pretty sure its not lps, doesnt have any mouths on it..

It looks a little like Pachyseris but i cant quite tell. Is there any way you could get a closer picture of it?
