Monti question

I have a Monti frag that I picked up Sunday. It has some white spots that I am unsure if they indicate anything.

Its at the bottom, should I provide cover? It was at the top on the tank it came from under high LED lights.

If it was starting when you got it and slowly getting worse...it may be monti eating nudibranches .......if all this damage happened this week than that is too fast for monti eating nudi's and its likely STN/RTN...so likely water parameter problems.

The white edges were identified as new growth from the seller, the white spot in the middle is new. I see no critters on it. Water parameters are listed in top post.

The only other SPS is a watermelon stylo frag and it's growing and appears happy. Everything else is a LPS or leather.

Montipora caps generally don't have white growth edges.

Monti eating nudi's are very tiny....google it or do a search here.
