I have a Monti that puts out sweeper tentitcles at feeding time and have not put any other frags near it as I do not want the war from it to another sps coral has anyone seen a monti have the sweepers?

I have a Montipora venosa that will do that. They only reach out maybe 1/4" at the most tho.

I've never heard of or seen a Montipora sp. coral put out sweeper tentacles. Sweeper tentacles are often inches long, not a fraction of an inch, which I would consider normal good polyp extension, as in Frick's pic. If it is indeed putting out multi inch sweepers, it is likely not a monti. Please post pics and let's confirm the id.
