I have a candy cane coral that was letting out a lot of mucus. Maybe it landed on it. I mean it's far away but hey you never know

Just taking a guess here, but has your nutrient level changed recently? More specifically from high to low? I personally have noticed this myself in montapora but not exactly how yours is showing. Usually when I had issues with it, it was more like white dots splashed all over the coral.

Water is good. I mean calcium in little low 400 to 420. But just got brs 2 part. Do will try to raise thst up w little. Alk is 8. Little low. But has been stable and been dosing a little everyday to keep it stable. The white spot hasn't gotten worse and don't see any nudibranchs when I pick coral up. Will keep and eye on it and see. If it doesn't get worse I think i should be ok.

What has changed in your system for the coral to bounce back?

Nothing really. I been dosing 2 part. Everyday instead of trying to guess with calcium and alk. But I really think blasting it with freshwater
