well i noticed a white spot this morning on a monti colony i have had for a few months... then upon closer inspection I noticed three very small nudibranches :furious:

i suspect they hitched a ride in on a frag i got from the last swap. Is the only treatment Lugols solution for 10 minutes and manual removal?

check out the sps pest thread...might give you some more ideas....coral rx claims to kill can't speak from experience thought...after doing some more research on the topic you will find that many people use quarantine tanks

Flatworm exit kills adults, but not eggs. So if you can QT it for a few weeks and give it weekly dips in FWE and kill the hatches before they lay more eggs, that should do it. If the infestation is small, you might be a ble to get away with just cutting off that small portion.

i caught the infestation early and have been treating with lugols which does not work all that well. most of my success was from manual removal. I also added two wrasses in an attempt to see if they will prey on them.
Compared to yesterday, their population has been cut down from 3 adults and 6 juvis + eggs to only one juvi

knock on wood i think i got rid of all of them now... havent seen one since my last post. it was a PITA to pick them off each time but thankfully i caught it in the very beginning and could make quick work of it :)
