montipora nudibranch problem.

Take out the montiporas..you will have to scrape them off and their eggs which will be on the bottom of the caps. You can also dip the corals in TMPCC, but you still have to scrub or scrape off the eggs with maybe a toothbrush or equivelent. It may take several treatments to get them all.
If it were me I would trash them and start over with new unaffected ones. Good luck.

What makes you think they are monti eating nudis? Have you seen damage to your montiporas? The nudibranch in the photo is an aeolid..there are many kinds. Some eat zoanthids, some aptasia. Each is diet specific. I have an article about them somewhere..I'll see if I can find it.

Waterfaller i have two little aptasia's in my tank that look pretty cool but i want them gone, whats the best way to get rid of them? I am getting a peppermint shrimp but what else can i do to get them?

I think I have the zoanthid eating nudibranch since I am finding them now on my zoos. I have been pulling them off all day. Pulled prolly 10 off so far and brushed them with a toothbrush to try and get the eggs off.

Careful around the zoanthids as they posess a toxin known as palytoxin. Do not get it near your eyes, or in cuts. Gloves are'nt a bad idea.
Bluecarpet, I would not get a peppermint for 2 aiptasia. Peppermints can be problematic if you want to add fun inverts like feather dusters, coco worms, etc. There are several products that will kill the aiptasia. One is Joe's Juice, then there is an Elimi-aiptasia by Tropic Marin. The best method I have found is to administer it by slowly 'sneaking' up on the aiptasia with the syringe. Then feed it out to it slowly, it will get a taste of it and will attempt to eat it. That is when I nail it with a good glob of it. Make sure if you get JJ you stir it well, as the solids settle to the bottom. Some people have also had success with boiling water in a syringe, lemon juice, kalkwasser in a thick paste, and also straight calcium. Never kill more than about a dozen or so in a day, as all the chemical added to the tank can cause an imbalance in parameters.
