Montipora Only Tanks, Anyone have one?

i am working on my monti/ zoa tank

currently have a brown polyps purple base digi, a green digi, a yellow digi, an orange digi, a metallic green cap, an orange cap with pink polyps, and a purple cap with blue polyps..i also have a floresent green monti of some sort...no idea though,,branching but very different from digitata

not sure i have room in my 20 for encrusting monti's though although i love them...they would likely run over my zoos...or the other way around...either way i dont want that..

I'm working on my 75 being all monti, i just have a few frags left over from my smaller tank but 90% is montis including

superman
pokerstar
rainbow
idaho grape
2 colrs of whorling
2 colors of cap.
3 colors of fingering
one mystery expriment
one purple polyp experiment
and a few others thrown in as well

A little out of date, but you can see the layout. Viewable from 3 sides between two stairways. Got a lot more montis than what I posted earlier, up to 60 or so.

Cool thread. I've actually thought about this and maybe will set up my secondary tank as full monti. I've love there growth pattern and low enviro impact from easy fragging.

Very interesting thread! I've recently been bit by the 'Monti bug'. I'm really starting to enjoy seeing the different kinds!!

I'm pretty sure I've got the RHCP now, or something virtually identical. I have frags from three diff sources that match the skeletal structure and color scheme. Only difference is intensity of the green, and that's probably a lighting/photo tweak issue.

I'm up over 70 different Montipora now, it's become an obsession that is a little out of control :D And there's still a couple on my wish list!

-reverse sunset
-forest fire
-pink sandollar
-orenji

Forest Fire, Pink Sandollar and Orenji. Those are pretty hard to find but well worth the search. I only know of a few people with the Orenji and less with the Forest Fire (the monti not the digi). The Pink Sandollar always seems to be sold out.

 What do you mean by montipora and not digitata?
