the moon reflects the suns spectrum exactly. It will only be blue in deeper parts of the water. Chances are its too dim to penetrate that far anway. I would go with white.
If I remember correctly, moon light actually measures at like
460nm or something very close to that. I dont remember the exact details, but it was definatly a specific spectrum of blue.
I was researchind diy moonlight LED and bought that spectrum.
460,470, maybe 450.
Moonlight is 450nm I use LED mr16 style lamps , works great but LED have more of a spot effect so what I do is shine them at the surface at about 15 deg. and it looks awesome
Hey guys...saltwater newbie here. I have a setup with Moon lighting but I'm not 100% certain as to when to turn on the moon lighting. I know they are LED's to technically I can leave them on all the time with no issues but should I only have them on at night? My moon lighting is blue by the way. Looks great!
