moorish and bannerfish

will a moorish idol beat or be beaten by a bannerfish ?

This is a totally obnoxious question for me to ask, but why on earth would you want both? If you've got an Idol that's doing well for you, leave it at that.

I know why hes asking this... He loves the moorish idol but also loves the schooling behavour of the bannerfish..

My opinion, dont even bother!!!

I have 2 fishes offered to me , both are aquarium residents (not the same of course) both in great shape . So want to know if can house them together or may need to find a new home to one of them ...

Yes you can house both together in a 200gl tank. Be aware though that the Idols are notorious for not eating in captivity.
