moray eel and hyposalinity

can it be done or is hypo not good for eels? I know copper is a no no but was not sure about eels.

Hypo is OK if you use an accurate refractometer and check the pH daily. However, eels don't get ich often. Are you sure of the diagnosis?

the eel is not showing signs but I want the main display empty to rid it of the parasite. So all the remaining fish including the eel are in qt with hypo.
