more rock

the tank im using for salt water is 100gal and i'm putting in 100lbs of live rock, should that not be enough for a fowlr tank or should i add to it . I'm asking this because others have told me 100lbs is not alot of rock in a 100gal.

100 pounds is a little on the minimalist side but can be done if you invest the time to aquascape it. i'm running a 75 gal FOWLR and i have nearly 100# of rock in two separate formations with plenty of room for the future fish to swim around and find hiding places.

I guess it depnds on how you landscape it. I personally stay on the lower side to give the fish more swimming space.

I have 250 for my 125g. Lots of swimming room too. You'll be surprised at how the fish figure it all out. I'd get more rock, at least 50 more lbs. It will help you and the tank down the road.
