more ?'s about 2nd half critters

Our 2nd half has been in since Sat and everything looks great. Ammonia rose to 1 this morning and I did a water change... back down to .5 as of 5:30 this evening.
Questions:
1. Do sea cucumbers molt? The outer layer of skin is coming off one of my sea cucumbers?!?!
2. I identified the bright orange snail that I was looking for an
id on. I believe it is some sort of limpet. Are these good? I
read on a different website that the brightly colored ones
aren't good...

My sea cucumber in my TBS package received April 2nd is also molting. Doesn't seem to be a problem for the tank of the cucumber.

The orange snail is most likely a "shield limpet." The shell is very characteristic of limpets.

also it seems normal for the cumbers to molt one of mine did it 2 months ago and he is still fine

I have 5 and they all got nubby looking like they had a bad sunburn and were peeling when they first arrived. It went away after a week or two and they are all doing fine.

My cucumbers are all molting also. They actaully look much better when they are done. Perhaps they will stop hanging on the glass and actually go into the sand when they are finished shedding.
