do you still have the 40 breeder? and footprint on the skimmer? can it be used in a sump?

the skimmer is a hob skimmer. im sure you could modify it to work in a sump but thats not what it is designed for. from the top of the surface skimmer to the bottom it is 15in about another 5-6 including the collection cup

yea, but what would I do with it.. I would have to get it fixed, and then build a stand, and then somehow convince my wife to let use it. then again, she might make me move into it...clothes and all. I am coming from a 75. it woudl be like a whole new tank...WOW...

give you a nice little project the glass from glass cages would be about 100 bucks to fix it. the only reason i'm not is because i am getting a 300

man I don't even have to convince my wife just have to convince the land lord here in the apartment to let me build an addition to our 3rd floor, one bedroom apartment to put it in and builf the dark room my wife has been wanting. LOL

yea. if I get it, it woudl surely have to go in a wall. which means the sunroom my wifey wants, and another garage as the way our house is configured, it could only go on one wall.
