they are very wicked. try to get a clearer picture of the 2nd ones, without the actinic look if you can.

The first photo was a hitchhicker and those peachy spots glow under the blue actinics, some reef locals told me it's a "Paly". The second photo (orange, white and green zoos) was from a very limited new shipment and was still closed when I bought it. What a nice surprise when I saw them opened up. BTW, shot under 3x 400W 20K MH with 2x 140W actinic blue VHOs.

we know you own it, but have you taken a picture with your own camera yet? of the polyps in your own tank?

b/c that isnt *your* picture of it in your tank, it was the picture that was posted on the website that you bought it from. ;)
 
My camer is not the greatest but I will post a pic soon!!!! I am hopfully getting a new camera this weekend.....

the one in the bottom right has been ID'd on zoaID as the green stardust. the other 3 were all ID'd as desert foxes (but not on zoaID).
 
I got mine Desert Foxes from ultimatefrags.com They looked like the ones in the top right of surfns photo, but have not morphed into something far less exciting. I'm still messing with placement to get them back to where they were originally.

The two on the left are pics from my tank. Top right was a pic from Rommel's site. We both got them doing trades with Tropoasis.

Don't worry, they're growing out nicely right now. You know what that means :)
 
So ruby reds are $100 a polyp? What site was that pic from pazzazz? I seen it a couple weeks ago, But forgot which vendor was selling them.

thats right! i remember now. i swear i cannot remember who posts what pics. but yeah, i do remember now. you got those, the RPE, and PRPE's all from someone at the same time ;)
 
I certainly didn't mean to infer that Buddy Pines are not nice;). Those seem pretty unique.

As for the high dollar zoas, I prefer trading. That way everyone knows what they are getting and are only out shipping costs. That's how I got my PPE's;). The Envy orange I almost got were $15 for a 10 polyp frag...
 
since when are PPE so expensive? i got a 15+ polyp frag from a local reefer for $20 i think, but since then theve been closed a lot and lost most of the center green, but now 2 of the polyps are coming back

first of all, PPE's dont have green centers. they do have a green slit mouth. and i've NEVER seen any people eater lose its green slit mouth due to stress or bleaching. IMO, you may not have the *real deal* PPE based on your description alone.

a picture is worth a thousand words...
