ill get a pic soon, i meant slit not center sorry, and im not positive they are PPE's , they looked really close though when they were colored better, oops and i didnt mean lost, i mean the green center has faded b/c teh frag has been closed for 2 months, but they are finally opening!! lets see if i have any pics.......heres the best pic i have

no, those are not PPE's (Purple People Eaters). Purple people eaters, are mostly purple, with a green slit mouth, and a green skirt.

Yours are of the "people eater" variety (aka zoanthid gigantus). but are most likely GPE's, Green People Eaters.

o ok, never new there was GPE's , are they worth as much as PPE's?

I have little funny story on that Desert fox : )

Got mine about 3 years ago could be more (Not sure where or how much I paid) than I sold some and give away most of my softiies and zoas about 2.5 years ago to do LPSs only but 2-3 polyps of this Desert fox were on my big liverock so I just kept it. (I was just treating it as a nice algea for sometime)

It survived all tank move and all so now I have some : )

GPE's arent worth near as much as PPE's. GPE's prob are good for ~$1-$2 a polyp, depending on how nice they look.

PPE's go for anywhere b/w $30/polyp to $90/polyp.
