Hi unicornis
I personally have never kept one. But I do know a few people who have. They are a small species that can hide alot and unless it is stressed or a threat is present they remain a brown color most of the time. This species is also very short lived in captivity. The other reason you might want to consider a different species to keep is venom. Their bite is deadly and can kill you with litte time to get help. To get a better idea of the whole blue ring situation check out this article written by Dr Roy Caldwell who studies them. http://is.dal.ca/~ceph/TCP/bluering1.html
As far as food goes, they eat most things other octopuses eat, crabs, shrimp.... Do a search in this forum on blue rings, lots of threads on this subject.
