I have a GBTA that i have had for a few weeks, i got it on a spur of the moment thing. So now i am looking for the most likely clowns that will host it. My attention is leaning towards a pair of Amphiprion clarkii's. Does anyone have a pair of these hosting a GBTA. Please share your experience if you do, also photos would be nice if you have them.

i've had a pair of GSM's before, and the female started to make a mess of my tank after a while, kicking up the sand, so i really want to stay away from them.

Pink Skunk Clown..mine hosted my gbta in less than 12 hours. I have seen a Clarkii host a bta at my lfs. I almost got the clarkii insted but I couldn't resist the cute little pink skunk.

Clarki clowns accept more anemones than any other clown. BTAs are one of clarkis natural hosts.

If it wasn't for clarki clowns H. malu and C. adhaesivum would not be considered clownfish host anemones.

clarki is the winner. from what i've read, almost all of the ten clown hosting anemone, clarki is on the list.

my osc pair took to my gbta overnight.

how big is the gbta? if it's too small, maybe you should hold off on the clownfish. i've read that you need the anemone to be at least 2x the size of the fish

I had a Tomato Clown that hosted my GBTA. Two actually. The first GBTA died during a power outage...My tomato was a mean little bugger though.
