Most reefsafe dwarf angel

I know angels are hit or miss but what's the most reefsafe dwarf angel? I am planning to keep mostly softies and LPS in 46G bow.
Thanks

I've got a Flame in with some softied and LPS. The only thing he picked on was my clam, now he's picking on my Watermelon Chalice.

I think it's pretty much hit or miss with dwarf angels. I had a flame angel that seemed to nip at my corals when I first put him in, but stopped doing it after a couple of weeks.

What's the opinion on Cherub Angels?
Angels in the argi complex are probably the most reefsafe - like cherubs

I have a cherub, flame, flameback, and eblie with Lps, Sps, clams, zoas and I almost never see then pick on any thing.

Thats right, the cherub, resplendent, flameback argi complex are the most dependable. Lemonpeels are among the riskiest and coral beauties and flames are generally pretty safe. I think with softies and LPS many dwarf angels shoud be fine.

Cherubs are reef-safe yes, but some (Not all) of them have a personality similar to damsels, in that they are very territorial and tend to be aggressive towards other fish. Make sure it is one of the last fish added to reduce aggression.

C. argi & relatives, whitetail & fishers I've read also. My coral beauties never bothered anything in my fairly small reef either..

My cherub recently turned to the dark side. She has a real problem with litophyton, sarcophyton, zoos, nepthea. OK really she has started nipping anything she thinks looks at her funny.

I kept a Multi-colored Angel for three years- finally I trapped it because it was nipping at clams and chasing gobies and blennies. Beautiful fish but never again...

i had a potter's and he was completely reef safe...just not malfuntioning heater safe, man...really liked him too.

I agree. The downside to them is that they tend to be more belligerent towards other fishes, so one should be aware of that.

Good point! If you choose one of these, it should be added last. Unless you're putting in a tiger shark or something!
