Haven't seen these before, would work great in my 8" high canopy. Not on their website, so I'll give them a call.

Yea I was suprised the replacement legs from AI are ALOT taller than the one tht come with the kit. This is how they should be! With out having to hang them at least lol

No I ordered the rail kit from a store on eBay. They were missing screws and 1 leg lol. They said they called AI and they would ship them directly to me. I gotta say I was excited when they arrived bigger than the tiny ones I had

OK. I called AI. All new rails kits shipping out to distributors will have the new 6" high legs. This has only been happening within the last 24-48 hours, so dealers don't have them yet.
If any of you know when any online dealers get them, please post to this thread. Don't know how many dealers will be offering just the legs only.
AI wouldn't sell me the legs direct.

All nice mounts. I have been trying to figure out how to mount two radions on my new 105 rimless. I cant hang from the ceiling either. I like what apex used at MACNA. I did find the mount from aquariumspecialty.com and they wanted 1,500.00 for a single mount to hold two radions. Crazy

Yeah, I talked to ReefGeek and MD and they weren't aware of receiving the new rail kits with the longer legs.
Problem is, many dealers will want to move the kits with the shorter legs they already have before they start selling the new ones.

+1. I got lucky they messed mine up. Lol

I just received my used AI Nano Sol (I believe Blue since it has the Royal Blues as well as the standard Blues) today and there was no hardware at all. I didn't want to make any holes in the wall or ceiling or stand, so I made this for $7. It's not the prettiest, but it works. We will be moving in a couple months and I will then hang it.

Tryin to figure out how to put my 3rd Hydra on the rail kit without the center brace blocking the light

Here's how I hung mine. HD bent the conduit for me (future Nephew -in-law)

Black chain and a can of spray paint with the AI rails cut to the length I wanted.

It looks pretty good, but my next project will be to build a hanging canopy to match the stand.

I'm new here but here's my Vegas over my 90

It is electrical conduit cut and welded with wires run through

Here is how it terminates in the stand

I know that the average person might not know how to weld but believe me its not that hard with a little practice you will get it. I used a simple wire fed welder from harbor freight I use for really light duty stuff and scratched welds and ground till it looked good then used bondo to smooth the seams. Good luck
