Mounting magnet to Wavebox

I have two Waveboxes each with a magnet on the bottom and suction cups on top. Recently I have noticed that the magnet will not stay connected to the wavebox. It seems that the small mounting pegs on the boxes have worn down to the point that the magnets will not clip onto them
Is there some way to replace those mounting pegs?
Also, are the suction cups on the waveboxes particular to them? They don't really hold very well either.
As of today, I actually can't use one of them because the suction cups are shot and the magnet won't mount. Had I not been paranoid enough about this and literally tide the box to the hood, the boxes would have fallen to be bottom of the tank.

Thanks,
Mark

if the bottom worn out, use the magnet on top and suction cup in the bottom with some super glue :D. Been there, done that myself....

Sweet. I will look into ordering a new set of suction cups. I think replacing the suction cups and swapping them the magnets is probably the most cost effective way to go.
Thanks Jar*Head!

If you send in the box, I can replace the nipples. The suction cups, like any suction cup lose there resilience within a year or so and should be replaced.

Yes, but it takes a while to do this repair so I probably couldn't do it while you wait, but I could knock it out within a couple days. I have to grind out the old nipples carefully with a rotary tool. Innevitably the box does get a few nicks and scratches, but I have done it before with good results and I have the nipples and plastic cement on hand.
