mounting question

I have 6080....can this or other similar type can be mounted side ways other than the regular position???

I got my 6080 used. 1-2 years back. The guy I bought from some guy who glue the bracket on to one of those mag float glass cleaning thing. So with it mounted right side up I can only position it at certain hight with mag float it glue on to and have it point to the right/straight/left( and anywhere in between).

Is the tunze magnet bracket for 6080 capable of allow it to point slightly upward? Current canopy doesn't allow me to place my 6080 higher than where it is now, so if I place any coral in the path of the water coming out of the 6080, tends to not stay where I place it.

Would appreciate any suggestions

The bracket lets it angle left and right but not up and down. Depending on the age there was a new "hitch or post - cant remember part name" that the pump slides down onto which moved the pump out slightly allowing a few more degrees of rotation. In most tanks I would say the Tunze magnet allows the pump to be moved pretty close to the suface IMO
