Mounting Tunze with 1" acrylic?

I am thinking of getting two Tunze 6200 's for my 600g FOWLR tank. I currently have two Seaswirls, a closed loop and 4 1/2" returns and still cannot get enough flow throughout the tank.....my question is....how can I mount these inside my tank...seeing as how it is 1" acrylic...I have looked and the magnet holders are only good to 3/4" acrylic....any ideas?

Thanks

I guess that might work, but I probably would have to put them on the bottom of my tank...36" deep....which means the cords would be very visible..... I would like to find a way to mount them up higher..... I am thinking of using the bracket and coming up with a way to mount it into a 1/2" bulkhead.....

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if the magnets would work on 1". I have 3/4" on my current tank and the magnets are like....VERY secure.

That being said, There are a few options. Most involve drilling holes in the lip and then either using the rail mounts or dropping a pipe down and zip tieing to the pipel.

As moonpod said. The Stream rock doesn't work with the 6200. We will have a 6200 Stream rock but it isn't out yet. The magnet holders might work if no strong angle was placed on the pump- i.e. it is blowing dead ahead. Otherwise drilling the brace will definitely work. If the tank is empty many professional installers drill a 1/4" deep hole in the acrylic and tap it so they can mount the rail with nylon screws near the top.
