Moved monti 1 hour ago- forgot to dip....

It is sliming which I understand is fine. Shopuld i pull it back out and dip it....or ride things out. I came out of another of my tanks more established. TIA

If you don't think there are pests on why would you want to dip? I think that dipping now would make it worse. I assume this is a digitata since mine slimes quite a bit when moved. I would say let it me for the time being (unless there is a good reason to remove and dip etc.) Best,

Thanks for your input! Came out af a clean tank but I'm still new to sps and didn't know the best way to handle it!

i wouldnt dip it unless something is wrong with it mite cause more stress.

no need to dip if tank is pest free and its your own.

when getting montis always check the bottom and see if it has been eaten by nudibranch. Dip and try to qt if possible. If not qt check the bottom for a few weeks and if u dont see the little buggers u are good. You dont want to get monti eaters pain to get rid of.
