Movement of Anemones

I bought a 6 inch BTA about 3 weeks ago and it won't stop moving around the tank into dark areas where it is going to die. The water quality is perfect, but I read that they might move because of the current. It seems to like the low current side of the tank.

Anyway, how do i keep it in one place, or where would they like to be the most?

It's relatively new to your tank, so it may also be trying to get acclimated to your lighting. It will not die if it goes into the dark for awhile, commonly BTAs tend to hang in a cave or a dark spot for several days to possibly a week or two to get acclimated to a light.
The nem right now is moving to find a suitable spot for it to stay. Its hard to keep them from moving when they want to find a better place((which can change, for instance right now it might try to get used to the lighting hence retreating to darkness. Other times it may try to get as much light as possible and go to the top of the tank)) to settle.
One technique I've read about, when trying to coax it into stay in one spot, is to feed it when it is a good spot you want it to be in. I have no experience with that working or not however.
I wouldn't move the nem from dark to light, let it be, and see if you can feed it at all as well.

A tank that is roughly 5 months old does not have the exact stablility an anemone needs therefore your water parameters are not "perfect." Sure you may have zero nitrates, salinity is right, right temperature, etc but that doesn't mean your water parameters fluctuate. Not to mention, test kits don't pick up everything.

What kind of lighting do you have and how much flow are you pushing?
