yup, im upgrading to my older brothers 180gal tank. Its one step and a couple of rooms away, including a hallway tight corner. What im thinking is putting the tank upright and using a dollie. My house is built standard and the floor in my room isntbuilt directly on the ground it has foundation under it. like i could crawl down there if i went under my house. Anyone have a large tank in conditions like this?

Has anyone had a tank fall through a wooden floor? does anyone know how many support boards have to be running under it for it to be safe? let me know your experiences.

i would def try to brace teh floor up some... it sounds like it would be easy to do with some cenderblocks and some wood. i have never heard of anyones tanks falling threw the floor and i dont think you would want to be the first!.. braceing the floor will give you peace of mind....

is the tank running parrallel with the supports in the floor or is it running perpindicular to them? You want the tank running perpindicular to the floor supprt so it crosses as many beams as possible.... and i would support it... i supported mine
