This weekend I move into my new home and will be replacing my 55g with a 75 I plan on making my own sump out of a 29g tank with a refugium in the center section. My fuge dimensions will be 11x12x10 is that large enough? Also I'm completely replacing the substrate from my 55, which is ls, to a Caribsea special grade seaflor. Because of this I'm wondering if it will be a good idea to make a DSB using the ls that I'm just going to throw away from my 55 in my fuge or if I should just invest in some miracle mud or the likes. Also how much of the water should I attempt to salvage from my 55 if any. I know the tank will cycle again so should I just make 100gallons of new water? What are your thoughts on using Walmart purified water as my source of fresh and then mixing some reef salt? Sorry for all these questions I'm just a bit overwhelmed at the moment with so much to do. Will my livestock survive this new cycle? I have a oc clown, coral beauty, watchmen gobi. Several snails as a CUC and a frag of hammer, Xenia, and acro. Thanks in advance for the help
